What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Fieldstone Ontario Concrete and Masonry collects when you use our website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We're a masonry contractor based in Ontario, CA, and this policy applies to our website and to the information you send us through it.
It doesn't cover other websites we link to, or services run by other companies, because they have their own privacy policies. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Information you give us
When you fill out our estimate or contact form, call us or email us, we collect what you choose to share. That usually includes:
Your name, phone number and email address.
The address of the property where you want work done.
Details about your project, such as the type of work, its size and when you'd like it done, along with any photos you send.
We only ask for what we need to reply to you and plan your job. You don't have to give us anything you're not comfortable sharing, but we may not be able to give you an estimate without a way to reach you and the job's location.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours can collect some information on its own when you visit. This may include your browser type, device type, the pages you look at, how long you stay, the site that sent you to us and a general location based on your internet address.
We use this to see which pages people find useful and to fix problems with the site. It isn't used to identify you by name.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember your visit. Our site, and the analytics and form tools it uses, may set cookies to count visits, keep the site working properly and understand how people move through it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading and contacting us, though some features may not behave as expected if cookies are turned off.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your questions, schedule a visit, prepare your estimate, do the work you hire us for and follow up afterward. We may also use it to keep records of past jobs, so we can help you if something comes up later.
We don't send you marketing you didn't ask for, and we don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
We share information only when it's needed to run our business or when the law requires it. That includes:
Companies that provide tools we rely on, such as our contact form service, website hosting and analytics. They handle your information only to provide that service to us.
Suppliers or subcontractors working on your job, when they need details such as your address to do their part.
Government offices or others when the law requires it, for example to answer a valid legal request or to apply for a permit for your project.
How long we keep it
If you contact us but don't hire us, we keep your information only as long as we reasonably need it to follow up on your request. If we do work for you, we keep job records longer, because we may need them for warranty questions, taxes, insurance or legal reasons.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it if it's wrong or to delete it. We'll do that unless we need to keep something for a legal, tax or warranty reason, and if so we'll tell you why.
California residents have rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what we collect, to ask us to delete it and not to be treated differently for using those rights. Since we don't sell personal information, there's nothing to opt out of on that front.
Before we act on a request, we may ask you to confirm who you are, so we don't hand your information to someone else.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable steps to keep your information safe, such as limiting who on our team can see it and using trusted service providers. No website or system is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be exposed.
Children's privacy
Our website is meant for adults arranging work on a home or property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The current version will always be on this page, so check back if you want to see what's changed.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information, want to make a request or think we've handled something the wrong way, call us at (909) 738-1042 or reach us through our contact page. Tell us what you need and we'll respond within 1 business day.
