Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Fieldstone Ontario Concrete and Masonry, ontarioconcreteandmasonry.com, sales@ontarioconcreteandmasonry.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Fieldstone Ontario Concrete and Masonry website and any estimate or service you ask us for through it. By using the site, calling us or sending us a request, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Fieldstone Ontario Concrete and Masonry, and "you" means the person using the site or asking for our work. Any written estimate, proposal or contract we sign with you for a job governs that job. Where it says something different from this page, the signed document wins.

What we do

We're a masonry contractor in Ontario, CA, and we work in Ontario and the cities around it. Our work includes concrete, brick, block and stone, along with repair, restoration and new construction. You can read more about our crew on our about page and find each service from our home page.

The service descriptions on this site are general information. They aren't an offer to do a particular job, and they aren't advice for your property. What we'll do on your job, and how, is set out in the estimate or contract for that job.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the visit and on what you tell us about the job.

Masonry often hides problems until the work is open, like damaged footings, loose units behind a face or soil that won't hold a base. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you and explain it before doing more. Work outside the written estimate needs your approval, and we'll put the change and its cost in writing first.

Prices on an estimate hold for the period stated on it. After that, material and labor costs may change, so we may need to update the figure before we schedule your job. Permit fees, inspection fees and any other charges set by a city or county are passed through as stated in your estimate or contract.

Scheduling, delays and cancellation

We agree on a start date with you when you accept the estimate. Dates are our best plan, not a promise, because weather, material deliveries, inspections and conditions found on site can move them. We'll tell you as soon as we know a date has to change.

You need to give us safe access to the work area on the scheduled days, with vehicles, furniture and other items moved out of the way. If we can't get in or can't safely work, we may need to reschedule, and your contract may allow a charge for a wasted trip.

If you need to cancel or move a scheduled job, please call or contact us as early as you can. Your contract sets out any cancellation terms, including how deposits and materials already ordered are handled. Nothing in these terms limits any right to cancel that California law gives you.

Payment

Payment amounts, due dates and accepted methods are set out in your estimate or contract. Some jobs call for a deposit or progress payments as the work moves along, and the contract will say so.

Please pay by the dates agreed. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and we may use the remedies the law allows to collect what's owed, including a mechanics lien where the law permits one.

Warranty and disclaimers

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. Any written warranty on a job, including what it covers and for how long, is the one stated in your contract. Materials may also carry their maker's own warranty, which the maker handles.

A warranty doesn't cover damage from misuse, lack of upkeep, ground movement, tree roots, drainage problems we didn't work on, or changes someone else makes to our work. It also doesn't cover normal weathering and color changes in concrete, mortar, brick and stone, which are natural materials and age over time.

Apart from any written warranty and any warranty the law requires, the website and its content are provided as is. We try to keep the site accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

We're licensed and insured. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses tied to the website or our services, such as lost use of property, lost income or the cost of temporary arrangements.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability on a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. These limits don't apply where California law doesn't allow them, including for harm caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Using this website

You may use this site to learn about our work and to contact us. Please don't copy its text or photos for commercial use, try to break or overload it, or send false information through the contact form.

Links to other websites are there for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

Resolving disputes

If something goes wrong, call us first. Most problems are settled quickly by walking the job together and agreeing on a fix, so please give us a fair chance to make it right.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take the matter to small claims court where it qualifies, or to the state or county courts in San Bernardino County, California. You may also have the right to file a complaint with the state agency that licenses contractors.

Governing law

These terms and any job we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the current one. Changes apply to your use of the site after they're posted. They don't change a contract you've already signed with us.

If you have a question about these terms, please call us at (909) 738-1042 or reach us through our contact page.
